Radiator Turn Knob

POLICY-Wizard™ calculates your ideal home care program to avoid problems with your Radiators, but sometimes trouble can still occur. Here are answers to questions about radiator turn knob.

QUESTION FROM lee wilkinson
I have a small leak coming from inside the on-off turn knob of my water radiator. It is only a slight leak, and it stops if the radiator is turned off.
Does it need replacing (and if so how) or is it fixable. Cheers

ANSWER FROM POLICY-Wizard™
Dear Lee:
If you are lucky, underneath the knob on your radiator valve, there will be a packing nut, and if you gently tighten this nut, it will hopefully eliminate the small leak in your valve.
Hope this is helpful.
